In a crazy world, we build sensible solutions.

بالعربيSoftware for the Arab world

The faster digitalisation spins, the more you need solutions that are thought through. soft-park has built them since 1995: smart IT services and well-made software, together or on their own. Sized for your business, without buzzwords or false promises. Now in Dubai: British design and German engineering, in Arabic and English.

Built for the Arab world

Software that speaks Arabic. Natively.

From Dubai, we design and build software for companies across the UAE and the Arab world. Arabic is not a translation layer added at the end. It is planned in from the first sketch, so your teams and customers can work in the language they think in.

Plan an Arabic project
  • Right-to-left, done properly

Layouts, navigation, forms, tables and charts mirrored the way Arabic readers expect, not just right-aligned text.

  • Truly bilingual

Arabic and English side by side, one-tap switching, and content your team can manage in both languages.

  • Arabic search and data

Search, sorting and reports that handle Arabic script, diacritics and spelling variants correctly.

  • Local formats

Hijri and Gregorian dates, Arabic or Western numerals, AED and regional currencies, local phone and address formats.

  • AI that understands Arabic

Assistants, chatbots and document tools that read and answer in Arabic as well as English.

  • A team in your language

Our Dubai team works in Arabic and English, so nothing gets lost between the brief and the build.

Maritime

Logistics

Hospitality

What you want isn't always what you need.

We could call it game-changing, next-level customer support. Or we could simply listen, understand what our clients really want, and recommend what they actually need. Either way, it ends with one thing: a sensible solution.

Lessons learned

How IT projects don't fail.

Everyone talks about success; nobody learns from mistakes. Yet most IT and software projects fail for the same reasons. These seven deadly sins can be avoided. Forewarned is forearmed.

Let's talk straight
Overpromising

False promises are made in the first meeting. Critical factors go unmentioned, the budget isn't enough, downtime is played down, and nobody talks about the business processes that will have to change. The project is doomed before it starts.

We name the risks, costs and process changes up front.

Too many cooks

Without central responsibility there is chaos. Departments fight for control, one side accelerates while the other brakes, and turf wars paralyse decisions.

One accountable owner on your side, one champion on ours.

The do-everything wish list

Nobody defines the problem clearly, so the solution stays vague. Supplier and client talk past each other, and in the end nobody is satisfied.

We define the problem and the goal precisely before we build.

Radio silence

Nobody explains the next steps or the impact. IT changes always affect business processes, so staff are caught by surprise and resistance grows.

Regular, plain-language updates for everyone affected.

Forgetting the user

IT and software are tools, not an end in themselves. Complicated systems get rejected, users find workarounds, and the technically best solution goes unused.

The people who use the system every day help shape it.

Fear of change

Old processes don't work in new IT. Digitalisation means adapting how you work, and holding on to outdated routines leads to failure.

We plan the process change together with the technology.

Saving in the wrong place

"IT costs nothing" is a myth. Cheap solutions become expensive, hidden costs surface later, and whoever only looks at the purchase price pays twice.

We show the full cost, including running and follow-up costs.

IT project risk check

Seven yes/no questions based on the seven reasons IT projects fail.

  1. Have the risks, costs and process changes been named openly?
  2. Is one person on your side accountable for the project?
  3. Can you describe the problem you want to solve in one or two sentences?
  4. Do the people affected know what is changing and when?
  5. Are the people who will use the system helping to shape it?
  6. Are you ready to change how you work, not just the software?
  7. Does your budget include running, support and follow-up costs?
